I'm pregnant, but my partner isn't supportive and always wants sex
I recently fell pregnant with my boyfriend of 3 years.
I have put on a bit of weight and I can't help feeling down all the time. He never says I look nice, he said I need to buy some bigger clothes becuse I look a mess and Im getting bigger. He still wants sex and I really don't because I feel he's only doing it to relieve himself not me.
I can't even begin to think what he's thinking. Can you help?
Don't be afraid of telling him you don't feel like having sex, stand up for yourself. If he doesn't like it then tough, send him to the bathroom with a copy of Playboy.
Men in general can be extremely insensitive, but that's no excuse for him saying you look a mess. Tell him he should be more supportive and enrol for ante-natal classes (now called parenting) together.
And whatever you do don't feel down because you are putting on weight, it's pretty difficulty to go through pregnancy without getting bigger. Enjoy your pregnancy.
