Unlike the charismatic President Barack Obama, England is left with a list of political leaders as exciting as a wet lettuce. 

Add to this confusion over what each of them stand for, something to do with what side of the stage they stand on... the far left or far right... and it's little wonder that the voting public are more likely to stay at home instead of the poll stations.
