Following a bunny boiler act, and attempt to strangle Steve (played by Martin Kemp), an ashtray to the head in self defence soon saw the end of her.
However, the mental torture of witness Matthew, who he manipulated into helping him dispose of Saskia's body, made for one of TV's best baddies and unmissable tele.
