Lady Gaga never fails to surprise. On September 11th, the Poker Face singer revealed that she shaved the lower part of the back of her head by posting her dramatic do on Twitter. She later explained that she did it for a friend.
Gaga tweeted: "I did it for u Terry. I'm sorry about ure mommy. She has princess die, but were all princess high."
The singer later posted another picture that showed she hadn’t cut all her hair off. However, she didn’t explain the meaning behind the tribute.
Terry Richardson, an American fashion photographer known for his provocative snapshots, has been Gaga’s friend for years. In 2011, the two worked on creating a book entitled ‘Lady Gaga X Terry Richardson’. This contained pictures taken from behind the scenes of the singer’s Monster Ball Tour.
Meanwhile, Richardson posted a rather moving picture of him comforting his mum in a hospital bed. He told The Sun: "R.I.P. Annie Lomax, My Mom 1938-2012."
Lady Gaga is currently doing a “Born This Way Ball” world tour that started on April 2012 and is expected to end on March 2013.
