The heaviest pumpkin weighed 766.12 kg (1689 lb) when it was presented by Joe Jutras from North Scituate, Rhode Island, at the Topsfield Fair GPC weigh-off in Massachusetts on September 29, 2007.
He broke the previous winner's record, Ron Wallace with a 1502 pound pumpkin, by 187 pounds.
