Britain's best beaches
No 1 - Rhossili Bay, Swansea - 47%
The nation has voted for its favourite beaches. Taking almost half of the votes and the winner of the Cadbury Flake 99 Great British Beaches Awards is this little piece of heaven down the road from Swansea.
The Welsh winner is located on the remote western tip of the Gower Peninsula, which was awarded the first area of Outstanding Natural beauty in Britain back in 1956.
It fought off competition from around the land but was the clear winner thanks to stunning scenery and surf to keep the more active equally happy. But which were the other worthy winners?
