Can you suggest flowers or flowering shrubs for an east-facing wall?

Most shrubs and flowers would be quite happy against an east-facing wall because they would still be getting sunshine half the day though some do not like early morning direct sunshine. I suggest clematis, escallonias, wisteria, and roses. You could also grow lavatera, annual and perennial, phlox, wallflower, kerria, and roses.
