Probably the best method is entrapment and mole traps should be available at an ironmongers or a drysalters, if your locality has such a thing. If not, your garden-centre might be able to help. Shoving prickly garden waste, such as holly, down the tunnels can be amazingly effective and I believe it is possible to buy smoke-bombs which do the trick.
