My garden is plagued by rabbits...
My garden is plagued by rabbits they eat almost everything in it. Can you please advise me of what flowering plants I could plant that they are not partial to?
In short very few. Lavender and Tagetes are the only ones that come to mind along with any others that have a strongly aromatic sap such as Myrtaceae. Ask about these in your garden centre. As rabbits go for the soft green shoots you could try growing flowering shrubs with heavy protection, eg wire, lots of mothballs etc., until they are strong enough to survive on their own to a certain extent. You could tie strings across certain affected areas with strips of foil attached which can cause rabbits some alarm. Alternatively you would have to erect wire fencing to keep them out of the area entirely. The best solution of all is a hyper active Jack Russell!
