My Labrador urinates on our lawn
My Labrador bitch Susie urinates on our lawn and although I try to dilute her urine by soaking the area with water discoloured patches are gradually increasing. Is there anything I can apply to help rejuvenate these areas? I don't want to stop her using the garden for her toilet.
Sorry Rod there is not much you can do about that. However in view of the fact that Labradors are such wonderfully easy dogs to train why not set aside one particular spot for her use. You could even cover a sheet of plastic with newspapers that could be removed after use. In Hong Kong they solved the problem with municipal dog lavatories and the animals seemed quite happy to use the same spot all the time.
