My lawn is covered in worm hills
My lawn becomes covered in worm hills at this time of year, to the extent that the kids can't play on it without being covered in mud. What can I do to prevent worm hills?
I can't really understand this problem. Usually where children play, the earth becomes so compacted that the worms don't invade. Most gardeners like to have the worms around anyway to improve he condition of the soil. However, the solution is to take a heavy yard brush and sweep the lawn. This will disperse the earth and reduce the mess - let the children do it for you if they are old enough!Search the web
