Should I move my wisteria?
We are building an extension and as it will be only three feet away from my wisteria, I feel the wisteria should be moved. It has been in a pot until two years ago when we moved to this house and I planted it out. It is about eight years old but has never flowered (I think that is due to my lack of pruning). Where should I move it to and when, it stands about five feet tall.
Really your best plan is not to move it at all. Wisteria love having something to climb and if you move it you might well have another 8 year gap before flowering. Loves full sun.
