3. San Zhi (Taiwan)
Originally built as a luxury retreat for the rich, this pod village was apparently cursed and after numerous fatal accidents production was ceased on the increasingly expensive community.
Rumours of ghosts have given the public and government a reason to stay away and rebuilding over such tragedy is frowned upon. Some believe it was simply a case of legal wrangling and lack of funds but nevertheless, it's still visible today.
