Olive magazine has served up its list of the top British chefs, but which lucky culinary master has been hailed as a cut above?
Before her death in 1992, Elizabeth David was credited with bringing French and Italian cooking methods and ingredients such as olive oil into British kitchens.
She was even the subject of a biopic – Catherine McCormack (pictured above) played the revolutionary chef in 'Elizabeth David: A Life in Recipes'.
