Our national obsession - the weather. It's starting to take a strong grip this summer leaving us wondering where has the sunshine has gone? But don't let the rain get you down; there are still loads of activities for you and your family to get your teeth into even if there is another down pour.

First up - don't fight it, enjoy it! Wrap up in waterproofs and go for a brisk walk. Introduce the children to the appeal of splashing through puddles and go to the nearest family-friendly pub for a bar snack. Or step outside and stage a water-fight, with the aim of getting as wet as humanly possible.
