The non-drip teapot
Designers at Debenhams have finally solved the frustration of the leaky teapot, thanks to their ingenious non-drip steel pot. It contains a 'baffle' - a metal plate placed inside the pot to stop the teabag blocking the spout.
The team have also repositioned the lid to the rear of the pot so it doesn't come open while pouring. Some tea purists may balk at the idea of serving from stainless steal instead of the classic china, but for those in a hurry with no time to spill this could be the answer.
