Kids' TV with a lesson
10. 'How2'
The show began in 1966 as 'How' presented by Fred Dinenage, Jack Hargreaves. However it was taken off air in 1981, then returned as 'How 2' in 1990 and was aired right up until 2006.
The show answered children's questions with experiments and graphics, striking a balance between fact and fun. It covered everything from "How do non-stick saucepans work?" to the bizarre "How can lightning blow your socks off?".
