Kids' TV with a lesson
6. 'Vision On'
Shown on BBC1 from 1964 to 1977, this was the original kids' art show, presented by Tony Hart (who would later introduce the character, Morph to our screens). The animation, mime and minimal dialogue made it one of the first programmes to appeal as much to the deaf as hearing children. Other shows followed suit such as 'sMart', 'Art Attack' and 'Take Hart'.
