The betting pundit has been a central figure on the Channel 4's racing coverage for 25 years, but he is to be sidelined to only doing newspaper reviews for Saturday's 'The Morning Line Show' as the channel replace him with younger models.
Replicating one of fellow broadcaster the BBC's most controversial moments, Channel 4 could well have a backlash as racing fans have become used to the eccentric presenter's expertise and betting tips. But which star did the BBC give the boot to make way for a less mature profile?
