Really naff days out
International Banana Museum, California
The world can breathe a sigh of relief as the world's largest collection of banana related products has been saved!
Ken Banniser who is, er, bananas about the phallic-shaped fruit, has been bailed out by fellow fruit loop Fred Garbutt who saw his appeal on eBay and stumped up £30,000 for the 17,000 plus piece collection.
Now be situated next door to the shop he owns, Garbutt plans to launch the Intern¬ational Banana Museum in January 2011, adding to the rather bizarre collection even further.
This is one exhibit not worth trekking across the pond for, but what other attractions aren't worth the time of day?
