Legend has it that by the time a goldfish swims around its bowl, it will have forgotten that they ever did it so they just keep on going.
But they’re not as dumb as many of us think – goldfish were trained by Plymouth University to collect food by bumping against a lever. They even taught them to recognise that the lever had to be pressed at a certain time of the day.
