The biggest things in the world
Biggest edible picnic
London’s Kensington Gardens came to a standstill as passersby stopped in awe at the sight of the world’s biggest edible picnic.
The record-breaking picnic took a team of 10 chefs one whole week to prepare, using over 50kg of flour, 100kg of sausage meat, 15,000g of cheese and 75 eggs. On the epic small car-sized napkin was a focaccia sandwich 1m x 1m in size, a scotch egg bigger than a football, a cocktail sausage the length of a cricket bat, and an LP-sized Jammie Dodger.
The first of its kind in the record books, the giant picnic was to mark the launch of the second series of 'Man v Food' which shows weekdays on the Good Food channel.
