Biggest smoothie
To quench their thirst and promote Canadian dairy produce, the Dairy Farmers of Canada blended up a record-breaking super-sized blueberry smoothie.
The Canadian-sourced ingredients – including 550 litres of milk, 150 litres of vanilla yoghurt, 35 litres of honey, and 300 kg of frozen blueberries – were blended with giant immersion blenders and took over three hours to prepare before being plunged into a specially designed 1,200 tank which was chilled to a refreshing -1C.
The dairy loving Torontonian crowd lapped up the excitement and celebrated the record withsome of the whopping 1,000 litre smoothie.
