The top 10 most unfinishable novels
1. Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre
Telling the story of a 15-year-old boy who becomes the scapegoat for the suicide of his friend (who himself had murdered 16 school bullies) and flees America to make a break for Mexico, this novel may admirably satirise contemporary America but remains a literal trek to the finish line. But on the plus side this relatively small book makes any collection look much larger.
