The Vatican's top 10 pop albums
3. 'The Dark Side of the Moon' - Pink Floyd
If there's one album that fathers insist on clinging onto their vinyl copy of, it's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' - Pink Floyd's prog rock peak. The band pushed the existing technology to the limit after taking over Abbey Road studios before unleashing it on the unsuspecting public. The resulting sonic journey remained in the charts for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988, longer than any other album in history.
