Linday Lohan doesn’t disappoint when it comes to making headlines. Last Sunday morning, news about a man assaulting Lohan in her own hotel room surfaced.
Based on the reports, the ‘Mean Girl’s’ star partied at 1 Oak nightclub with friends the night of the incident and invited the suspect back to her hotel room.
According to reports, the party turned sour when Lohan discovered her pictures on the guy’s cellphone and later challenged him about these. She claimed that the suspect became angry and attacked her, choking her and throwing her to the ground.
The actress reportedly activated the fire alarm and soon after, police arrested the suspect. She sustained minor scratches on her hands but refused medical help. Her rep said: “Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel. While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized.
“The assailant was arrested and is currently in police custody. Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.”
LaBella was released and the charges against him; two counts of assaults and two counts of harassment, were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
