Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested Wednesday 19th September after she fled from the scene of a traffic accident in Manhattan.
The police said the accident occurred as Lohan was leaving a Chelsea nightclub at 2:30AM. Lindsay reportedly hit a 34-year-old man in the legs at the alleyway of 355 West 16th Street, next to the Dream Hotel. Lindsay was driving her Porsche Cayenne.
The man who was hit was able to call 911 and was taken to the nearest hospital.
Lohan was subsequently released but has been summoned to appear before a judge, although the date has not been determined.
This is not the first time that Lindsay will be appearing before a judge. Over the past several years, the troubled actress has had several run-ins with the law. ‘The Freaky Friday’ child star has in fact experienced several prison stays.
Recently, she has been trying to rebuild her life after a judge in LA ended her probationary period last March. The judge let the 26-year-old actress off with an advice to ‘stop the nightclubbing’ and to behave more her age according to The Telegraph.
