The new presenter on ITV's 'Loose Women' is Kate Thornton, programme makers have confirmed.
The former X Factor presenter will take over as the new co-host on the daytime chat show, replacing presenter Jackie Brambles.
Brambles announced earlier in the year that she was quitting 'Loose Women' to spend more time with her family.
Thornton said of her new role: "I am delighted to be joining one of the best teams on TV. I can't wait to get started as the show heads into its tenth year."
The host, who will share the presenting with former GMTV weather girl Andrea McLean, will appear on the ITV show in September.
ITV studios controller Fiona Keenaghan said: "I'm thrilled to bits that she is joining the Loose line up and I know she is going to fit in brilliantly."
Thornton had previously hosted The X Factor for three years until 2007 when Dermot O'Leary took over.
