Madonna's hot concert

Madonna left fans steaming after turning down the air-conditioning at her New York concert last night (18.07.06).
The 'Hung Up' singer made fans swelter at her Madison Square Garden sell-out concert - because she was worried cool air could affect her sensitive vocal cords.
Fans suffered in blistering temperatures which reached 90 degrees as Madonna belted out her songs.
One fan, Stephanie Krukovsky, told America's New York Daily News newspaper: "It's suffocating in here. I'm disappointed that the air conditioner is not on. I have been fanning myself all night."
Some veteran fans, aware of Madonna's anti air-conditioning rants, came prepared - bringing along electric hand fans.
Olga Byrne said: "It's really, really bad. It's so hot."
