The first export shipment of six-and-a-half barrels of Guinness beer left Dublin on a sailing vessel bound for England in 1769, and it kept on going. The top five Guinness markets around the world in terms of sales are Great Britain, Ireland, Nigeria, the USA and Cameroon.
