Bringing down carbon emissions isn't the most tempting of prospects for motorists looking for performance, style and cost, but as the government grants 5,000 for consumers to buy electric cars, the road is looking a lot less rocky.
Thankfully a range of electric cars are becoming apparent on the green horizon to cater for every kind of motorist. Known as the Volt in the US, Vauxhall's latest revelation won't be available until at least 2011 but the hybrid has plenty of futuristic style.
