While the franchise only lasted three tragically brief years, 'Actua Soccer' adopted the first use of full 3D, which included the players themselves.
The tagline "there's nothing virtual about actua" is a tad misleading, but nevertheless it beame a fan favoute. Alan Shearer personally endorsed the final installment, 'Actua Soccer 3', in 1998.
