According to reports, half of men refuse to order a soft drink when they're in the pub, for fear of looking like less of a man. Instead, they order a pint because if they got a Coke, they think they will be ridiculed by their mates.
These results, combined with news that apparently the metro-sexual look is out; with women much preferring men looking a bit more rugged - think Brad Pitt in Snatch over Gavin Henson on Strictly - points to the conclusion that manliness can be vital to us men.
