Great British cars at the 2008 Motor Show
Morgan LIFEcar
The British International Motor show has rolled into town dazzling car lovers with all sorts of new engineering treats. And it's not just foreign vehicles on display; many motors from the show have been manufactured in the UK.
The forthcoming LIFEcar is the perfect example. Currently at the concept stages, this eco-friendly vehicle is a joint project between the classic English car maker Morgan and the start up company, RiverSimple.
Running off hydrogen powered and electric motors, the car still packs a punch and will reach 60mph in seven seconds. With a weight of just 650kg any driver would look good and be first off the line, come the day of release.
