From mid 60s onwards, plenty of rozzers did the rounds in this classic, which is generally regarded as one of the first 'panda cars' (smaller cars used for ordinary patrol work) due to its appearance of white stripes on a black or blue chassis.
The Lancashire Constabulary is behind the iconic naming the Chief Constable described a Ford Anglia as one to The Times newspaper in 1966.
