Iconic police cars
MGB
This 1963 convertible not only showcased a more playful and exotic breed of British copper but it also became one of the first to be driven by an all-female crew. Hardtop versions were also seen in the early 70s.
Typically the advanced drivers found themselves behind the wheel of the white-painted ones, while everyone else was stuck with the black models giving rise to the myth that women drove the latter. To a lesser extent the MGA and MGC were also adopted but nowadays the closest they'll get to an MG is a Rover 75 estate.
