The MV is the product of Massimo Tamburini, the man behind the Ducati 916 and this may well have been the Ducati 999.
Instead the rights to this bad boy were bought out by the Castiglionis and quickly blended with the best of Italian technology, including a Ferrari engine. This led to a motorbike capable of 194mph.
