What are the 10 most reliable used car makes?

Which Car? has revealed the most reliable motoring brands when it comes to cars that have aged three to 10 years.
The list, which studied 50,000 cars, gives a representation of which car make provides the most trustworthy rides on the road by the time the automobile is second hand.
Far East companies dominated the most-reliable top 10, with Honda being awarded the top for the fifth year in a row, Subaru second, Mitsubishi third.
The annual study was undertook by What Car? magazine and insurance company Warranty Direct..
The only non-Far East companies to break into the top 10 were Skoda in eighth place and Mini in 10th.

Out of the 32 companies studied, Land Rover was placed at the bottom of the list of 32 brands - 53% of its cars suffered a fault.
While Honda topped the list, the brand also suffers the highest percentage of air conditioning issues, with more than 10% of cars affected, as well as the highest number of transmission woes at 15%.
Subarus tend to have problematic axle and suspension issues, with 50% of cars at fault. They also have more brake problems than any other make, with just under 17% of cars reporting a problem.
The most expensive make of car to repair was Porsche, at an average cost of £717.36, while, despite an excellent reliability record, Mazda had the second-highest average garage bill, at £481.26.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, Renaults were the cheapest to repair at an average of £226.54.
What Car? editor Steve Fowler said: "This year's survey produced some interesting results. Several prestige manufacturers have suffered embarrassing failure rates, while brands that buyers may not associate with reliability have shown a marked improvement."
