The 'Field of Dreams' field and farmhouse
Asking price: $5.4m (£3.7m)
Kevin Costner has passed on buying the iconic location in that cemented his career peak in 1989 - the farmhouse and surrounding field that makes up the title of the hit fantasy drama.
Located in Dyersville, Iowa and complete with baseball diamond, bleachers, outbuildings and the farmhouse itself, alongside souvenir stands, it was the place that Costner's character gave up his cornfarming to build a baseball pitch which a team of ghosts played on. The feelgood sports film was nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. An estimated 65,000 people visit the site every year, and Kevin Costner's band even played a set there.
Becky Lansing, who owns the 193-acre tract with husband Don said: "We love the land and the field, but it is time for us to head to the locker room"
The owners are hoping that the film's iconic line will still ring true - "If you build it, they will come".
