It's not the first (or the last) time that Bond has been linked to peddling products. The Daniel Craig years were heavily funded by Sony, which means plenty of swanky laptops and mobile phones.

But the worst bit is this exchange regarding his trademark watch:

Vesper Lynd: "You know... former SAS types with easy smiles and expensive watches. [Glances at Bond's wrist] Rolex?"
James Bond: "Omega."
Vesper Lynd: "Beautiful."

Ever notice how Bond's watch always manages to face upwards during action scenes and is always poking out of his suit in the posters? Must be because it's so "beautiful".
