Injuries have taken place of scandal across the sports in last week's headlines. Switzerland's tennis world No 1 Roger Federer pulled out of October's Japan Open and Shanghai Masters 1000 to rest and Andy Murray was questioning whether he would play at the events due to a certain injury.
Football legend Sir Bobby Robson was remembered by Ipswich Town and Newcastle United, of which he managed both. And in Formula 1, Britain ruled the waves as Lewis Hamilton took first place at Singapore, but Jenson Button remained on top for the championship title.
