Alcohol and its effects

A new report is calling for the drink-drive limit to be lowered, meaning that most people will be over the limit after downing just one pint.
Sir Peter North's report (which has been met with resistance) stated that the limit should be cut from 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood to 50mg.The move will put the UK in line with many other territories in the EU.
The move, North concludes, would save up to 168 lives in the first year, rising to 303 by the sixth. However, some ministers pointed that the vast majority of drink-drive deaths are caused by drivers who are well over the legal limit.
In an era of larger glass sizes, cheap supermarket booze, and double (if not triple) measures, find out how much you really know about alcohol and its effects.
