The American road trip
Clarkson, Hammond and May embraced the spirit of the Old West when they headed over to America for a road trip. Each spending $1,000 on an old motor they planned to travel across the States, from Florida to the Deep South.
It all got a bit dangerous when they spray painted their cars with endorsements for gay pride and Hillary Clinton for President and pulled into a redneck petrol station. They were forced to flee under a hard rain of rocks and insults. And making the whole situation worse, May's slowmobile needed a jump start from Hammond!
