Foods to avoid
Most of us know someone whose life has been affected by cancer in some way, but research suggests the right diet can help cut your risk of developing the disease. Here are five foods to avoid and five foods we should be having more of.
Red meat
Recent studies show that too much red meat can increase your risk of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, lymphoma, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
Limit your intake of red meats such as beef, steak, to two or three times a week and chose lean organic sources.
