The lineup: Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream), Glen Matlock (The Sex Pistols, The Rich Kids), Zak Starkey (Oasis, The Who), Andrew Innes (Primal Scream), Barrie Cadogan (Primal Scream)
The story: Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie has recuited former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock as well as Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey to join his fellow Primal Scream bandmates Andrew Innes and Barrie Cadogan to form a new supergroup. Starkey has drummed for both Oasis and The Who.
Silver Machine, an eclectic five-piece, has teamed up to perform a one-off show at the upcoming 1234 festival in east London scheduled for July 24.
