Why do inappropriate images and videos only seem to trigger once?

On capture of a suspected pornographic screen image, the screen monitoring engine is suspended for 20 seconds to allow the user to remove the image from the screen before it triggers another incident. To avoid excessive processing, video files that are being played are only analysed once per login session. The action taken by e-safe education and the reporting of the incident should be sufficient to deter the user from attempting to play the video a second time.

How often should I check the e-safe education Reports?

It is recommended that you check the Reports once a week to monitor e-safe education activity (refer to Section 4.2 of the User Manual). In Passive Mode the PC is not locked upon detection of a suspect image and so your only method for finding out whether users have been viewing pornographic images is to regularly check the Report Log for triggers. Even in Active Mode the Report Log should be regularly checked to ensure that a user has not attempted to access the e-safe education control panel by guessing your password.
