While many are pleasantly surprised at how cute the young star looked with her brave new hairstyle, it seems like Miley is a little too excessively pleased with it.
The 19-year-old star of Hannah Montana has been incessantly tweeting photos of herself sporting her new ‘do. She is now giving self-adoring Twitter users Paris Hilton and the Kardashian-Jenner clan a run for their money.
Within 24 hours, Miley has uploaded five images of herself, four of which were close-ups. In one of the photos, Miley looked reminiscent of Gwen Stefani in the latter’s No Doubt glory, with her bleached bob and blood red lipstick. Miley captioned the photo with “self-love is the greatest of all flatterers”, a motto derived from 17th century French author Francois de La Rochefoucauld.
Another photo showed her makeup-free and gazing at the camera from beneath bedsheets. The photo was accompanied by the message: “Energy flows where our intention goes…CREATE YOUR DAY”.
The string of self-portraits is also being blamed partly on Miley’s current activities, which mostly include watching her fiancé Liam Hemsworth film his new movie Paranoia. The film also stars Harrison Ford and Amber Heard. The star, who is used to being the center of attention, seems to find watching from the sidelines a bit boring.
