P Diddy’s involvement in a car accident was “a close one”

It was “a close one.” This is how P Diddy described the recent car accident he was involved in. The rapper’s Cadillac Escalade collided with a Lexus just outside the Beverly Hills hotel on Sunset Boulevard, according to reports.

It is understood that P Diddy wasn’t driving, and he was found hurt lying on the road after the accident. 

According to sources, the rapper refused offers of having an ambulance on the scene, but his spokesman has confirmed he got medical attention for multiple injuries after the smash. 

In a statement he said: “Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday’s car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. 

“He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident.”

Talking about the accident on Twitter, the rapper said: “WOAH... THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE!”

Meanwhile, the driver of the Lexxus was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment for unspecified injuries, according to The Sun.

It is unclear however, if Diddy’s driver and other fellow passenger, record boss Andrei Hurrell, were hurt in the crash.
