Pudsey is now every bit the supawster that he is meant to be as he continues to rub elbows with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. After flying to Los Angeles on Simon Cowell’s private jet, Britain’s talented canine has now taken America by storm.
The canine superstar has met Jay Leno and Morgan Freeman, among many other top celebrities, since he arrived in LA earlier this week. Pudsey guested on Leno’s The Tonight Show accompanied by his owner Ashleigh Butler. He shared the sofa with Hollywood star Morgan Freeman. The guesting marked his debut on US television.
Pudsey and her partner and sidekick amazed American viewers with their endearing dancing and their natural British charm, the same combination that helped them win the highly competitive talent show.
Ashleigh recounted the experience, saying that Morgan Freeman had, at one point, asked her, “Do you think he (Pudsey) knows he’s famous?”
“I think he (Freeman) was impressed. He was asking me how I taught Pudsey. I said I used food, and he said, ‘You wouldn’t get me to do that for just a bit of food’.”
Ashleigh also described how the experience has been for Pudsey, “Pudsey loves Hollywood. He likes the attention. The bigger the crowd, the more he performs. He’s such a show-off. Nothing fazes him.”
It has only been eight weeks since the pair won the top spot in Britain’s Got Talent, but it seems much longer considering how popular Pudsey has become. “It’s been like a whirlwind,” Ashleigh aptly described.
