Rupert Sanders is now reportedly banned from working with Kristen Stewart. The director’s wife issued the ban as a condition if he wanted to get back together and work their marriage out after he was caught in an affair with one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.
While it is not clear when the fling between Sanders and the rebellious Twilight star started, their friendship undoubtedly began when they filmed 'Snow White and the Huntsman'during several months last year.
Liberty Ross, mother of Rupert’s two children, is believed to be ready to forgive her husband on the condition that he will never work with Kristen again.
The Vogue model therefore makes it clear that Rupert will be unable to direct the rumoured sequel to the movie that brought Sanders and Stewart together – 'Snow White and the Huntsman'.
According to reports, Universal is considering the sequel after the success of the first film. However, if Kristen will sign on for the sequel, it will mean Rupert will not be allowed to direct.
“Kristen, as the film’s lead, will get preference over Rupert and Universal will just find another director.”
This is obviously disappointing for the director, who moved to the United States to pursue his career and who received decent reviews for 'Snow White and the Huntsman', his directorial debut. But since he didn’t know there was going to be a sequel, his contract is only for one movie.
Sources say, however, that: “He knows his actions were inexcusable, and he’s going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one.”
